Caesar said about the Belgians: “Of all peoples the Belgians are the bravest.” Although this has been completely taken out of context and was actually an insult, we want to prove to you that we are indeed the bravest!
We invite you to go head to head with us in the ultimate Ichtus Flanders-InverVarsity South Dakota challenge!

In February Jeremy, Caleb and Elijah visited us. Normally a delegation from Belgium would come to visit you last summer, but unfortunately. Covid-19 put a stop to it.
But don’t worry. Nothing can stop us from covering the distance of 4470mi 658 yd 2ft. Not by taking the plane or boat, not by crossing our borders. No, we challenge you to sport the 4470mi 658 yd 2ft as fast as possible!

What does this mean?
Download the sports app Strava on your phone. Become a member of the club “IV-IVSD challenge”
Track all your sports moments with this app or enter it manually afterwards. All sports offered in the app count. Your performance will automatically enter the club so others can follow how far we have progressed. Every month I give the running total.
Which student organization is the strongest, the bravest? Who gets the honour to be called the best? Ichtus Flanders or InterVarsity South Dakota?

The challenge runs from October  15th 2020 until August 31st 2021. So don’t delay! Put on your sports clothes, bring your friends and fight for the honour of InterVarsity South Dakota!

Hey Ichtianen!

Jullie weten het nog niet, maar jullie zijn een uitdaging aangegaan met onze zusterbeweging InterVarsity South Dakota in de ultieme studentenvereniging challenge! Dit wordt het duel voor de eer van Ichtus Vlaanderen!
Caesar zei over de Belgen: “Van alle volkeren zijn de Belgen de dapperste.” Hoewel dit volledig uit de context is gerukt en eigenlijk een belediging was, willen we bewijzen dat we inderdaad de dapperste zijn!

In februari zijn Jeremy, Caleb en Elijah bij ons op bezoek geweest. Normaal gesproken zou een delegatie uit België je vorige zomer komen bezoeken, maar helaas. Covid-19 heeft er een einde aan gemaakt.
Toch laten we ons niet tegenhouden om die afstand van 7,194.37 km tussen ons in te overbruggen. Daarom dagen we InterVarsity South Dakota uit om voor 31 augustus 2021 deze afstand tegen ons te sporten.

Wat betekent dit?
Download de sportapplicatie Strava op je telefoon. Word lid van de club “IV-IVSD challenge”.
Volg al je sportmomenten met deze app of voer ze achteraf handmatig in. Alle sporten die in de app worden aangeboden tellen mee. Je prestaties worden automatisch in de club ingevoerd, zodat anderen kunnen volgen hoe ver we zijn gevorderd. Elke maand geef ik het de tussenstand mee.
